The Clinical Lead reports to the Director of Chief of Staff's Office and has a close working relationship with the Chief
of Staff. The Clinical Lead will carry out quality improvement activities and support Departmental Chiefs as required
related to quality improvement. The Clinical Lead is a key position to support digital order sets development,
revisions, implementation, health care provider education and evaluation. Digital Order Sets aim to standardize care
and improve patient care through the alignment of evidence based practice for quality improvement.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience: Current unrestricted registration as a regulated health care provider in Ontario
Clinical practice within the hospital environment
Current knowledge and use of the Hospital's electronic record and associated clinical documentation modules
Prior experience and knowledge of professional practice, TBRHSC Professional Staff By?law, CPSO requirements
and practice standards, Public Hospitals Act, and other relevant legislation and hospital policies, procedures and
standards Knowledge of interprofessional clinical workflow and clinical practice guidelines
Change management theories and tactics
Educating within the clinical environment and knowledge of adult learning principles and experience in developing,
implementing and delivering education programs Review and adoption of best practices
Proactively managing initiatives to achieve desired outcomes
Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Advanced problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to influence and persuade
Demonstrates strong leadership skills
Works well as part of an interprofessional team to bring about improvement and to achieve results
Computer skills: Electronic Medical Record, GroupWise, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize workload to meet various deadlines
Self?directed with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets: Actively involved in professional organization associated with professional practice
Salary Range: $49.998 to 58.819
