About the Opportunity:
The Clinical Educator - Client Services is responsible for staff education and training, program development and evaluation, and maintaining compliance and best practices. The role involves mentoring staff, clinical orientation, and the development of clinical specific processes, tools, and resources. This includes care path development and revisions, quality improvement, along with assurance and excellence support across multiple specialties including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology and behavioural support. The specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Design and deliver onboarding and continuing education programs for front-line staff including electronic medical records
Training on pediatric developmental milestones, therapeutic interventions, and client-centered communication
Provide education on cultural competence, solution focused, trauma-informed care, and accessibility inclusion
Assess learning needs through ongoing staff feedback, performance data, recruitment and retention data and quality improvement initiatives
Create and maintain educational materials, manuals, and e-learning modules
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as needed
Ensure educational content aligns with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and evidence-based practices
Stay current with trends in pediatric excellence
More About You:
To qualify, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field, in addition to:
Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric care
Current good standing licensure in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., PT,OT, SLP, RBA) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills with high level of attention to detail and adherence to confidentiality standards
Commitment to family centered, inclusive care
Ability to design and deliver engaging educational content
Possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with public liability/property damage coverage as travel may be required
Proficiency in MS Office applications including SharePoint and Teams
In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills and experience will be strong assets:
Master's degree in healthcare-related field
Knowledge of AlayaCare or other electronic charting software
Standard First Aid and CPR
