Newcomer Health Clinic is a Primary Health Care clinic that provides full scope primary care services to Government Assisted Refugees, Privately Sponsored Refugees, and Refugee Claimants in the Halifax region. Nutrition care services of this role include, but are not limited to, health promotion, illness prevention, screening, treatment and monitoring of people living with chronic health conditions. Expertise may also be required to support people living with other health issues, along with community development and advocacy. The incumbent will be required to collaborate with others to increase team capacity.
