Job Description

Tez Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an in-person position based primarily at our clinic.

You will work with clients referred through WorkSafeBC, including those enrolled in the Early Concussion Assessment and Treatment (ECAT) Program, as well as individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents (ICBC).

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery from trauma, concussion, pain, and psychological challenges.

Responsibilities encompass:

Provide trauma-informed clinical counselling to clients. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and kinesiologists. Utilize evidence-based approaches to support clients in pain management, trauma recovery, and psychological rehabilitation
Education, Training, and Experience:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, Clinical or Counselling Psychology. Active and practicing full registration with one of the following professional associations (valid for the current year): Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada*
BC Association of Clinical Counsellors*
BC College of Social Workers*
Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association*
Canadian Professional Counsellors Association*
Experience working with ICBC clients Strong report-writing skills.
