ABOUT THE ROLE - CLINICAL & DISPENSING AUDIOLOGIST
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical and Dispensing Audiologist to join our amazing Team! Our clinic focuses on patient-centered care and the well-being of our clientele.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic testing for all ages (including OAEs and dedicated protocols for cognitive and hidden hearing loss assessments)
o For private clientele, third-party clientele
o ENT/Audiology clinics
Prescribe, dispense and fit hearing devices and assistive listening devices
Perform hearing aid maintenance checks and verification
Dispense and fit custom and non-custom earplugs (swim plugs, hearing protection, sleeping plugs, communication)
Provide appropriate counseling and education to individuals with hearing loss and their families to reduce communication problems and facilitate adjustments to hearing loss
Community outreach and social media
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Strong counselling and relationship building skills
Ability to work in a group and independently, with effective time management
Compassionate approach to hearing health care
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude
Master's degree in Audiology from a recognized, accredited program
Minimum 1 year clinical experience
Licensed by ACSLPA
