Clinical assistant Full Time position

Munroe Medical is seeking a motivated Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team . As a Clinical Assistant, you will work closely with medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist in a variety of administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant program. Registered as a Clinical Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy. Must be able to Muti-task and function in a high paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as team members. Excellent communication skills. Experience using an Accuro EMR. Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding service to patients and families.

Responsibilities & Duties

:

Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical exams. Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. Provide patient education on health management. Assist Physicians perform minor procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, wound care or minor procedure). Maintain standard practice recordings of all patient encounters, utilizing electronic medical records where available.

Schedule

8 hour shift Saturday - Wednesday Must be available on holidays when needed.
Expected start date: As soon as possible.
