Job Summary:
Working under CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) department of Clinical Cancer Information Management (CCIM), and working in close partnership with CCMB's Clinical Operations team, , the incumbent provides leadership in the delivery of training, continued education and ongoing support pertaining to the use and system improvements of CCMB's electronic patient record (ARIA) and other related clinical electronic systems, applications and platforms to all CCMB staff and regional staff at Community Cancer Program (CCP) sites across Manitoba. The incumbent must be able to adapt to change and able to communicate and implement change to the audience they are training.
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating & providing education and training of clinical application use to all clinical staff (e.g. nursing, clerical, medical, pharmacy, PSO, etc) to ensure proficient competent use of all electronic clinical systems. This position will work in close collaboration with site managers of the clinical disciplines as required. The incumbent will be involved in training module development and assessment, continuing education and the evaluation of efficient, effective use of the system for documentation/scheduling etc. as to ensure that all are appropriate for use in rural sites and settings and ensure a provincial scope.
The incumbent is a strong team member of all others that are involved in ARIA training and will attend all pertinent team meetings to ensure that standardization across all Provincial Cancer Programs is implemented and maintained. In keeping with new standards as they are implemented this position adapts and delivers updated training models as needed.
