What you will be doing as a Clinic Nurse:
Every day will be different in the Stoney Creek Clinic! As a part time Clinic Nurse, you will be able to apply your clinical skills in areas such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, tube feeding and medication administration, as well as health teaching. Your person and family centered approach to care will guide your decision making and facilitate collaborative care with each member of the interdisciplinary team. Your critical role of home health care supports the larger health system and you will demonstrate confidence in navigating clients and families to other resources to help them meet their goals.
We offer a full suite of tools and training to make service delivery both safe and effective. CBI Health supports supervised experience hours and mentorship of new nursing graduates.
What you will need to be successful
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Proof of liability insurance
Ability to work a commitment of 60 hours biweekly and commit to working every second weekend (days/evenings/weekends), with a static rotation
You can participate in an on-call or after-hours rotation
Strong communication skills
You embrace the use of technology to support your practice
