ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Client Services Administrator to provide superior customer service to SOCAN RR publishers and rightsholders by proactively managing the successful onboarding, maintenance and administration of their accounts / catalogues for reproduction rights. This position requires you to work closely with the Interim Team Lead, RR Membership and PR membership team in an effort to maintain this high level of service and the retention of our clients.
Overall, this position will be one of the external faces of reproduction rights for SOCAN and an internal RR champion to all of SOCAN. This role is contract position, created to help cover a 15-month maternity leave and will report to the Interim Team Lead, RR Membership as well as work and partner closely with the entire SOCAN RR team.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responding to and triaging day to day reproduction rights inquiries from external clients, over the phone and by email
Ensuring the prioritization and efficient onboarding of new clients including managing and reviewing affiliation documents to ensure completeness, updating our various internal and external databases and liaising with clients once the applications are processed
Assisting in developing \xe2\x80\x9cwhite glove\xe2\x80\x9d strategies to ensure the most effective onboarding approach, and improve and create a positive experience for publishers and rights holders
Providing RR expertise in improving SOCAN responses to inquiries, proposing enhanced business processes, and improved communication tools
Building rapport, trust, and confidence with clients
Assisting with inquiries from licensees (including sync and Pay-As-You-Press) as needed
Other duties as required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Exceptional client service skills
Understanding of the reproduction rights and/or publishing industry
Bilingual (French & English) is required.
Knowledge of the bi-cultural Canadian market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
Skilled in identifying potential issues, problem solving situations
Collaborator
Proficient in use of MS office (Word, Excel) applications
