Are you a service-oriented person with exceptional administrative and communication skills? As a Client Service Specialist, you will ensure our students have a high-quality experience from their initial inquiry and registration, in the classroom and across all touchpoints through to graduation.

Responsibilities



This position reports to the Associate Director, Executive Programs and works in collaboration with members of the Executive Programs team. The Client Service Specialist coordinates non-credit management education programs for international and local clients (both online and face-to-face). This includes liaising with the clients, faculty, staff, various university departments, governments and private industry as it relates to their program portfolio.

This position will be responsible, as part of a team, for the effective administration and smooth scheduling and operation of our open enrollment and customized training for International and Domestic groups as assigned, including:

Interest-holder Communications

: advising students and faculty on program-related matters, communication with university departments, government agencies and private sector partners;

Program planning

: managing program logistics including but not limited to managing registrations, securing venues, technology, catering, materials, and maintaining organized files with the goal of ensure all logistical details are well coordinated and documented to enable seamless program delivery

Event management

: coordinating orientation, field visits, program activities, guest speakers, and graduation ceremonies;

Financial support

: negotiate vendor contracts, reviewing invoices, supporting budget preparation, monitoring budgets, and reporting to ensure cost-effective, clear, and mutually beneficial agreements that support budgetary and operational goals.

Strategic Support:

Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making by advising the Associate Director on program operations, student needs, and improvement opportunities

Staffing recruitmen

t: Actively contributes to the recruitment process by assisting in the development of job postings, short-listing, interviewing, and communications with applicants.

Development

: Support the onboarding of temporary summer staff by providing training, and mentorship and assigning duties as they relate to program delivery

Qualifications



This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to an

Undergraduate degree plus

minimum 3 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Ability to apply project management best practices to plan programs, activities and events related to their program portfolio

Experience working with various social media platforms and how each network can be optimally applied in different scenarios.

strong written and verbal communication skills including intercultural awareness and sensitivity; excellent customer service relations skills ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external partners

ability to appropriately manage commitments and balance priorities with flexibility to deal with change

Ability to identify and analyze issues, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies to achieve desired outcomes.

Ability to collaborate, build and maintain positive relationships with diverse individuals and work effectively in a team environment.

Salary:



Starting wage $65,860

The incumbent will be required to work on or off campus at designated program sites as required. This position may be eligible for hybrid work arrangements following probation.
