Basic Purpose:
A Client Services Representative 2(CSR) is responsible for interacting with customers to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information about products or services. They serve as the first point of contact, ensuring positive customer experience by handling requests via phone, email, or chat, processing orders and returns, and escalating complex issues when necessary. CSRs must possess strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to effectively support customers and maintain satisfaction. Reports to the Client Services Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client contact management (handling client contact via email/telephone/in-person)
Resolve client inquiries, issues and/or complaints
Assists in resolving financial issues/complaints as necessary
Track client jobs and report progress
Coordinate client needs with laboratory production managers
Assist and coordinate with branch offices/other BV units as required
Assist in maintaining client relations when required
Perform onboard process for new and existing clients
Participate in renewal process by generating quotations and sending to clients for approval
Schedule and host regular client meetings including agenda and presentation preparation
Attend conferences/shows/events or provides assistance when required
Comply with occupational health and safety legislation, BV Group Policies and Procedures, Upstream Minerals Management System Policies and Procedures and ISO standards applicable to the position
Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Other duties or tasks as assigned by manager
Skills and Competencies:
BSc or technical diploma in Science, preferably in Chemistry
Some laboratory experience an asset
A minimum of 1 year client service experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications
Strong interpersonal skills - outgoing, positive, tactful and flexible
Strong organizing and problem solving skills to effectively handle time critical issues
Able to work independently and with others
