We are looking for a

Client Service Manager

for our Surety Team in our Vancouver or Langley Office!





As a Client Service Manager - Surety Bonding, you will play a critical role in servicing a portfolio of construction and commercial surety clients, while also handling key administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.



You will support producers and surety clients by managing bond requests, maintaining client files, preparing documentation, and coordinating with surety markets. You'll act as a key point of contact, ensuring responsive service and the delivery of value-added solutions to meet client needs.

Your day as a Client Service Manager




Prepare, issue, and process various types of surety bonds (e.g., bid, performance, maintenance, and commercial bonds). Review and organize client information, including financial statements and bond applications. Track bond expiries, renewals, limits, and outstanding documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in the brokerage management system. Liaise with surety underwriters and internal stakeholders to secure bond approvals and renewals. Respond to client inquiries and support producers and account managers with day-to-day servicing. Assist in the preparation of submissions and documentation for new and renewal business. Support contract review for bonding requirements as needed. Other special projects as required.

Our ideal candidate




3 to 5 years of experience in surety, ideally within a brokerage. Experience drafting or reviewing contracts or legal documents. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with a brokerage management system (e.g., EPIC, TAM) is desired. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Level 2 insurance license, or ability to obtain within a short period of time. A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in surety and growing within the industry is strongly valued.

The expected salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $110,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate's skills to the role.

Office Information





Our Vancouver office is situated in Coal Harbour, half a block from the world renowned Seawall.
