Client Service Manager- Loan Administration

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with front office, prime brokers, as well as counterparty and executing brokers on operational/settlement matters
  • Trade support for various fixed income products including (but not limited to) Credit Default Swaps, CDS Indices and CDO\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s, including bilateral DTCC settlement and cleared trades.
  • Review of Daily Compliance checks
  • Execute all aspects of trade capture and settlement in a prompt and accurate manner
  • Support the automated processes on a busy OTC bond desk
  • Liaise daily with portfolio managers, counterparties, prime brokers, custodian banks, operations and administrator in resolving trade capture and settlement issues
  • Monitor fail reports / aged settlements and correct any discrepancies in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with daily risk and end of day reporting, including some performance measurement and attribution
  • Complete general trading desk support activities, ad hoc tasks and analyses as required
  • Ensure the accurate settlement of bonds, FX, money market, and futures on a daily basis
  • Manage existing financial control procedures and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or enhancement to the existing processes and controls
  • Perform daily position and cash reconciliations
  • Investigate and follow-up on trading related discrepancies
  • Protect investors by independently checking for accuracy and identifying and challenging any deviations from procedures and policies in an informed and professional manner
  • Book, instruct and coordinate the timely transfer of securities and cash movements with utmost accuracy and precision

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance, or a relevant qualification
  • Understanding or knowledge of various security types \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93 Bonds, Equities, Futures, CDS, CDS Indices, Term Loans, Revolver, Warrants, Forwards, ABS, MBS, TRS, etc.
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge and understanding of securities and other financial instruments with an emphasis on Fixed Income Instruments.
  • Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Calypso, Bloomberg VCON, Markit, IceLink,, DTCC preferred
