Columbia Dimensional Stone produces natural stone veneer and custom-cut stone for a variety of architectural and landscaping applications. Our partner company, Aldridge Stone Ltd., quarries this stone and produces landscape and building stone. Client Relationship Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to step into a growing role with strong potential and active leads already in play. This is a remote position that includes travel within North America and direct interaction with clients across Canada and the U.S.
This role includes strengthening existing client relationships, building new connections with stone supply stores, developers, and wholesalers, and helping shape and refine our overall sales approach. The ideal candidate will bring confidence, industry awareness, and strong B2B sales skills -- especially in construction, design, or building materials. While experience in these industries is a strong asset, it is not required -- we're ready to provide product training and industry support for the right person with drive and resourcefulness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Take over and nurture an existing portfolio of warm leads and key accounts.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across North America and beyond.
Travel to connect with clients, primarily within Western Canada, with some travel to other parts of Canada and the U.S.
Build relationships with wholesalers, supply stores, developers, and specifiers.
Gather market feedback on pricing, competition, and demand trends.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing tools, respond to quotes, and track order progress.
Share insights and contribute to sales strategy development.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Sales and relationship-building experience, ideally in a related industry (construction, building materials, masonry, architectural products, etc.).
Knowledge of natural stone or construction products is an asset but not required.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
Ability to travel regularly within Canada and the United States.
A valid driver's license.
Confident using tools like email, Microsoft Office, video calls, and basic systems for quoting and tracking client interactions.

Remote/Hybrid
Base: Preferably within British Columbia or Alberta for proximity to major markets
Our operations are based out of Yahk, BC, with our quarry located near Cranbrook, BC.
This role allows for working remotely from home most of the time, but regular travel is required for client visits and occasional in-person team meetings.*

Full-Time
Monday-Friday (with occasional flexibility for travel or events)
WHAT WE OFFER
A competitive salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus travel expenses.
Benefits available after the probation period.
