This position, reporting to the Associate Vice President - Group Insurance Sales, plays a key role in optimizing the post-sale client experience. It serves as a group insurance expert for sales representatives, contributes to product development, and collaborates closely with internal teams to support key files and corporate accounts.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Client and Broker Relationship Management:
Respond to service issues and escalations, ensure client and broker satisfaction, and act as a company ambassador to support retention and business growth.
Issue Coordination and Resolution:
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues (meetings, action plans, follow-ups) while maintaining high communication standards.
Sales Support and Offer Development:
Support BDMs by documenting service issues, contributing to product and special project development, and assisting with corporate accounts.
Training and Promotion:
Develop and update training tools, and organize presentations and workshops to promote group insurance products and services to existing and potential clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to enhance their understanding of partners and clients, and strengthen relationships between head office and agents, brokers, and consultants.
Strategic Meeting Coordination:
Coordinate strategic meetings with agents, brokers, and consultants, including travel arrangements, scheduling, presentations, reservations, and internal team planning, in collaboration with BDMs.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Oral and written communication skills in both French and English;
In-depth knowledge of group insurance products and processes;
Ability to analyze quote requests, renewal documents (Assumption Life and other insurers), and performance reports (retention, profitability, margin);
Aptitude for identifying opportunities to improve benefits and negotiating fair and profitable pricing;
Strong ability to respond professionally to questions from partners (agents, brokers, TPAs/TPPs);
Skilled in creating and presenting explanatory documents on service offerings;
Demonstrated leadership in applying strategic plans, making business decisions, budgeting and logistics planning, and collaborating with the sales team;
Ability to maintain remote relationships and ensure ongoing follow-up with internal teams;
Team spirit, initiative, and ability to work under pressure and in discomfort;
Proficiency in structuring case analyses to support strategic decision-making.
