Job Summary:



MANTECH manufactures software-driven, automated, laboratory, and process analytical equipment for water and soil analyses. Our mission is to optimize the results of our customers while still enabling them to protect our environment. We do this by pioneering faster and green methods for analysis that also lead to efficient decision-making, thereby protecting and conserving our environment and resources. Examples include the most sensitive analyzer for pipeline leak detection into water systems, optimized wastewater treatment at Pulp and Paper Mills, Breweries, Food Processors, and optimized methods in Environmental Testing Laboratories etc. ensuring optimized usage of energy and reagents. By employing green methods our mission delivers on fuel and plastic reduction, reduced chemical usage, further protecting our natural resources. The Inside Sales Representative will be involved in these roles as defined below.

This a BioTalent government funded position requiring applicants to be Canadian citizens. This is an on-site position in Guelph, ON office.

Core responsibilities include:



Working knowledge of products to prepare quotes, answering customers' questions, and sending technical resources.

Keeping customer and prospect records up to date.

Coordinate sales interactions across multiple teams including scheduling meetings, virtual demonstrations, on-site tours, etc.

Attend and exhibit at events in Canada and internationally to generate sales interest including trade shows. Willingness to travel 1-3% with overnight stays.

Nurturing existing customers and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

Assisting in improving processes in customer relationship management system.

Research accounts, monitor government contract portals, identify key players, and generate interest.

Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

Additional duties as assigned by management as the role develops.

Required qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in commerce, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interest in learning water quality industry and green laboratory equipment.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Exceptional customer service and listening skills.

Self-motivated with a growth mindset to take on sales activities that will lead to better customer satisfaction.

Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
