The Client Manager would be responsible for business and relationship management with clients from different market sector groups, looking for opportunities for the various consulting service groups within Pinchin. You would work with Project Managers and members of the Marketing group to facilitate the development and maintenance of these important relationships. What you will be doing at Pinchin

  • Identify and investigate new business opportunities , gather market information.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of a sector or a client segment.
  • Manage clients, understand their needs, and follow-up with them on a regular basis
  • Participate in tradeshows, sponsorships, association events
  • Promote Pinchin and its services through various communication channels
  • Conduct presentations on environmental services to Pinchin's clients
  • Set-up meetings and develop relationships between new / existing clients and Pinchin Project Managers
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to explore potential opportunities uncovered through client communications
  • Work with members of the proposal team to ensure client needs are being met in RFQ/RFI documents
  • Obtain, discuss and follow-through on feedback from clients
  • Investigate and answer clients' questions
  • Communicate cross-selling opportunities to other service groups
What you bring to the Pinchin team
  • Existing network within the environmental or facility consulting industry
  • 2-5 years' experience with effective management of clients within the local region
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Ability to act as company spokesperson
  • Sound judgment
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable and proactive with contacting potential clients via telephone
  • Experience with the technical aspects of environmental consulting and engineering work is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
