We are looking for a Client Executive for our VIP Private Client Services team in our Winnipeg office!
The primary purpose of this position is to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to maintain and service a profitable book of business based on the company's objectives and individual business plans.

Your Day as a Client Executive
Produce new business through networking and various other means of prospecting
Ensure the terms and coverages meet or exceed the expectations and objectives of each client
Ensure maximum retention of existing clients by providing exceptional client service by regularly contacting clients to ensure quality service is being delivered and needs are met and exceeded
Work closely with the Client Service Assistants to ensure new business, as well as renewals and endorsements, are placed in a timely and efficient manner
Oversee the preparation of underwriting submissions and maintain appropriate documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
Identifies needs of prospective clients through research and involvement with relevant resources, utilizing team and corporate resources.
Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters in a timely and professional manner
Develop account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with client.
Prepare and present proposals of appropriate products and services to new and existing clients.
Participates in industry functions and targeted public relations activities.
Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as currently set out and as amended from time to time.
Maintain extensive market relationships
Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required
Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years industry related experience
Level 2 license (insurance designation, CAIB or CIP preferred), or working towards
Experience with High Value Homes required
Extremely detailed and precise
Excellent communication skills; listening, verbal and written
Must be completely client focused and service oriented
Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization
Positive attitude and a desire to grow
Willingness to go above and beyond the job description
Effective time management and organizational skills
