Job Description

We are looking to add to our team! We are looking for a candidate who can perform client care and reception roles as well as veterinary assistant roles when needed.

We are an independently owned, well established, 3 veterinarian small animal practice located in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes. Our clinic has a small staff of friendly, hard working employees and we strive to make a welcoming and friendly environment for our staff, patients and their owners.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, friendly, detail oriented and committed to helping provide excellent service to our clients and patients.

Duties

Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, taking detailed messages and communicating with other team members. Assist other team members to maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Skills

Candidates should possess a combination of required and preferred skills to excel in this role:

Front desk experience in a veterinary or animal care setting General veterinary experience or familiarity with veterinary terminology is helpful Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.41 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
