Tailz is on the hunt for a dynamic Client Care Specialist who's equal parts people-person and process wizard. If you're confident at the front desk, skilled with digital tools, and ready to help pet parents find exactly what their furry friends need--this role was made for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the first impression of Tailz, you'll ensure every client interaction is professional, personalized, and sales-savvy.
Your day will include:
Greeting and checking in/out clients and their pets with confidence and care
Managing bookings, client communications, and service records through our digital reservation system
Responding promptly to phone calls and emails, resolving concerns with professionalism
Actively recommending and upselling services and add-ons that align with each pet's needs
Promoting upcoming events, seasonal offerings, and specialty programs
Ensuring smooth daily operations and upholding front desk policies and procedures
You're a Great Fit If You Have:
2-5 years in customer service, sales, administration, or hospitality
Comfort and confidence in using computer systems, managing digital files, and processing payments
Strong knowledge of Google Docs and a willingness to learn new software quickly
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A calm, friendly, and professional demeanor--even on your busiest days
Precision and pride in your attention to detail, multitasking, and follow-through
A love for animals and a desire to help pet parents feel at ease
A collaborative mindset and a commitment to team success
Bonus Points For:
Previous work in a pet care, veterinary, grooming, or related setting
Hands-on experience with booking software and point-of-sale systems
Prior success in a sales or upselling-focused position
Post-secondary education or relevant certifications
