No prior experience necessary to join our team. We offer complete training and the opportunity to obtain your level 1 general insurance license within 30 days of employment.
As a Personal Insurance Trainee, you will help protect individuals most valuable assets. In this role, you will provide outstanding client service through your positive, friendly manner while educating clients in your excellent product knowledge in habitational, travel, and automobile insurance.
A day in the life -
Engage with clients to understand and advise on their insurance needs to help develop the best coverage needed in all things Personal Insurance (habitational, travel, automobile)
Follow-up regularly on sales leads and referral prospects
Process and conduct renewals and ensure policies are processed and issued accurately in a timely manner
Achieve sales and retention goals and targets
Assist with reporting and work projects provided by the Developments/Personal Lines producer
Support Auto overflow as needed
Maintaining a high level of knowledge in all our Personal Lines and Auto products through continuous education and learning opportunities
What you will bring to the team -

High school education or equivalent
Level 1 Insurance License is an asset, but not required
Keen eye for detail and high sense of urgency
Strong communication skills in both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to drive sales initiatives
Salary Expectations -
The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
