Client Care Receptionist - Hammonds Plains Veterinary Hospital

Hammonds Plains Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire a Full
Time Permanent Client Care Receptionist. We are currently not looking for summer students. We are currently a 5 doctor practice with an amazing supportive team environment looking to grow. We are one of the few remaining independently owned and operated, full service small animal hospitals in the Halifax area. We strive to create positive, welcoming and lasting relationships between our staff, our clients and their pets.

For this Full Time position, we are looking for an CCR that excels in communication, is compassionate, competent, eager and a team player. Your primary responsibility would be to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated! Additional responsibilities and qualities required for this role are;

Reception Duties Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments. Placing and receiving calls for follow-up and appointment bookings Respond and manage email correspondence. Admitting and discharging pet patients Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments. Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment. Strong organizational skills General housekeeping duties
