Position overview
The client advocate provides education and support to clients throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey, facilitating programs on parenting and healthy relationships, offering community referrals, and supplying material assistance. This role operates under the guidance of the Client Services Manager (CSM).

Qualifications
Have education and/or experience in a related field, including (but not limited to) social work, counselling, occupational therapy, or nursing

Responsibilities
Client Support Services (80%)
1. Provides direct support services for clients:
a. facilitate client intake and assessments
b. offer options information
c. arrange for client referrals and follow-up appointments
2. Prays with and offers spiritual care for clients as requested by the client, offering spiritual care referrals to local churches and other religious agencies as requested.
3. Facilitates programs with clients.
4. Arranges material support for clients.
5. Maintains, reviews, and updates client support services policies and procedures. Final review and approval by the ED.
Administration (15%)
1. Maintains client care files and documentation.
2. Assists with community awareness and/or fundraising events as needed.
Team support (5%)
1. Participates in staff spiritual activities, such as devotions, team prayer time.
All staff and volunteers are encouraged to exemplify Christ-like behaviour in their attitudes, speech, and actions throughout their daily lives. They should be ready to articulate CPCC's Christian beliefs and practices to visitors and callers, ensuring that they can provide relevant resources and support in alignment with the Statement of Faith and Mission Statement to anyone who seeks assistance.
