The Account Manager will develop and manage long-term relationships with their assigned clients. Tasks involve ensuring client objectives are met or exceeded in a manner that is fiscally viable for both the client and Ashfield. They will liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. They assist in developing presentation package, pricing structure, and proposing new solutions. Promote offerings and develop action plans with existing accounts to increase the business and revenue growth. Lead the quarterly Business Reviews.
The position reports to the Associate Director, Operations and Client Services. This is a head office position which allows flexibility of partially working from home.
This is a contract position ending May 2024

Job Duties:
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Lead business reviews according to the ABR (Ashfield Business Review) process
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsible for working with the Business Development team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Monitor and analyze customer\xe2\x80\x99s usage of our services and offer recommendations in-line with Ashfield best-practices
  • Liaise between the customer and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Track and communicate progress against account plans and harness the broader power of Ashfield Engage to address account plan challenges
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in alignment with Account Plans and build a pipeline of new business to establish, as well as opportunities for further growth within existing client accounts
  • Analyze and determine the needs of clients, develop strategies and action plans for revenue growth and profitability with assigned services
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for assigned Ashfield Engage services
  • General knowledge of Ashfield Engage services and recognize opportunities to bring in subject matter experts where necessary to engage and address client challenges/opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years Account Management Experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluently Bilingual in French and English (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long lasting relationships with senior client buyers
  • Ability to take a vision, translate into an actionable plan and execute
  • Excellent negotiation, listening, and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Strong ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • High Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal IQ
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and self-motivated
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills
  • Strong Computer literacy and tech savvy
  • Analyze and determine the needs of clients, develop strategies and action plans for revenue growth and profitability within assigned services
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management skills; experience in time, cost, resource, and risk management
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 per year Education:
