WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Staffing, Scheduling and Workforce Planning, this position will work in partnership with Scheduling Clerks and Departmental Managers to fill immediate, short-term and future staffing needs within in a complex multi-union environment. This includes adjusting staff rotations, calling in relief staff while using UKG Time and Attendance and Vocantas to record and fill vacancies, leaves of absence and sick leaves, etc. in accordance with applicable Collective Agreement rules.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:




Minimum education of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, however preference will be given to those with a post-secondary diploma/degree in a related field. Minimum of one (1) year previous staffing and/or scheduling experience and producing departmental schedules Advanced technological skills, including Time and Attendance software and Microsoft Office 365 applications Formal working knowledge of Collective Agreements and Collective Agreement interpretation Excellent communication and customer service skills (verbal and written) with staff, management and union representatives Exceptional time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality, use critical thinking skills and adapt in a change driven environment Acceptable attendance record in accordance with the Attendance Support Program. Acceptable performance record that is aligned with STEGH values.


WHAT WE PREFER YOU TO HAVE:




Preference will be given to those who possess experience of utilizing UKG and/or ESP/Kronos Time and Attendance for staffing/scheduling purposes. Staffing experience in the Healthcare industry preferred Crucial Conversation certification is a definite asset



HOURS:





Typically, days and evening shifts, seven (7) days per week. Candidates must be able to work weekends and/or statutory holidays as required. Hours may change based on the needs of the Hospital, and flexibility is required.
