Job Summary

As a Laboratory Assistant for our Sample Management team in Laval (QC), you will assist the technicians and provide general technical support.

In this role, key responsibilities include:

Receive or pick up samples from the facility.

Prepare the required materials for the study conduct.

Keep the samples well organized within the freezers and ensure proper documentation.

Perform maintenance/cleaning of the fridges and freezers.

Keep the working area clean and organized.

Key Elements

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

High school degree.

Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable.

Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail oriented and meticulous.

Ability to work under time constraints and to adapt to change.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Working knowledge of related computer applications.

Role Specific Information:

Location: Laval / Shuttle service between Montmorency metro station and Laval site, Free parking.
Pay: Starting at 16,25$/hrs.
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, permanent position (37.5 hours/week), depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime and weekends.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
