What would my role be?
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Ambulatory Stroke Clinic, you will be responsible for the office administration of an outpatient clinic. You will provide administrative support in all matters pertaining to the activities of the clinic, which includes a wide range of administrative functions, included but not limited to:
Monthly out of province billing verification
Format/edits medical transcriptions report
Entry of employee's hours weekly
Preparation of monthly and quarterly statistical reports
Receiving and processing referrals
Booking and scheduling of patient appointments
Communication with patients and health care professionals
How do I qualify?
Required:
One (1) year Community College Diploma in a clerical, office administration or health-related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience in health-related field
Recent work experience as clerk in an outpatient clinic environment
Preferred:
Experience working with and intermediate knowledge of MEDITECH
Fluent in French and English
