Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support of a confidential nature to the Director of Health Information Services and Informatics, a regional department with geographically distributed staff. The successful applicant will provide advanced secretarial support, maintain effective office systems, and provide quality and timely documentation. This position is responsible for coordinating meetings; recording and transcribing minutes; preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and other related documents, on call schedules and payroll duties. He/she must use initiative to organize and establish work priorities. This position requires that job duties be performed efficiently and effectively while at the same time maintaining respectful interaction with all staff, clients, patients, visitors, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
Education
Graduation from High School or equivalent.
Successful completion of a two-year Office/Business Administration Program from a recognized/approved college.
Courses and proficiency in MS Office, Internet and various other computer applications are required.
Experience
A minimum of three years\' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Considerable experience meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and be a critical thinker.
Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure and respond appropriately within deadlines.
