Description: The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma required as well as 3+ years staff scheduling experience in health care. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is required and evaluated. High degree of customer service, both in-person and by phone/email, problem solving, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are required. Must have superior active listening and interpretative skills. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction and within a team environment. Must have demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Must have superior ability to organize and prioritize. Must be flexible and able to meet the demands of changing deadlines. Must be able to purposefully work with colleagues, partners and clients to achieve shared goals. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment references. Current Cover Letter and Resume required. Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with Covenant Health Intermediate ESP education. Previous ASC experience and Timekeeping/payroll experience, as well as knowledge of the various applicable collective agreements and time reporting codes would be considered an asset.
