As such, you are responsible for delivering programs and services to meet the needs of our clients and the public good. Providing excellence in client service is demonstrated by interacting with clients and processing requests received across the channels of mail, fax, digital, in-person and phone. You strive to meet and exceed service within turnaround times, and always look for new and innovative ways to deliver services to ensure we continue to be agile and responsive to our clients.Primary AccountabilitiesWorking in a fast paced, continuously evolving service delivery environment, you scrutinize records, process documents, and apply relevant legislation and policy. You also issue primary identity documents such as Driver\'s Licenses and Nova Scotia Identification cards. Other key responsibilities include maintaining security/control of public funds and issuing and securing control of serial numbered and non-serial numbered inventory. While exercising a high degree of confidentiality, you accurately enter and retrieve data from automated systems. In your work, you interact with the general public, providing excellent customer service.Qualifications and ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you hold a minimum of four years of experience in a fast-paced, front line customer service environment. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. You are a flexible team-player with strong customer service skills, and you complete your work with efficiency and accuracy.
