Join our team today!The Clerical Associate reports directly to the Clinical Services Manager.Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the resource nurse, staff and physicians to provide clerical support to an active inpatient clinic as required
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking/comprehension)
  • Minimum secondary school diploma
  • Medical terminology or post-secondary education relevant to this position
  • Recent clerical associate experience required (order transcription, Meditech patient registration, order entry, payroll, purchasing/stores)
  • Experience with TOMCAT bookings
  • 40-45/wpm typing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy required
  • Word processing and computer skills would be an asset
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of a very fast-paced department
  • Must demonstrate Osler\'s Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
  • Excellent attendance and work record required
  • Reliable, dependable, punctual
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
