We are seeking an Indigenous Assistant who is enthusiastic and welcoming to a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and community members. The assistant will be part of a small team within the ILC and part of a larger team for the overall College of Law.PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide administrative and clerical support to the Indigenous Law Centre, College of Law.NATURE OF WORK: Reporting to the ILC Finance and Operations Manager, this position is part of a smaller team within the ILC as well as part of a larger team within the College of Law. The assistant will be assigned with numerous general office tasks such as reception, calendaring, logistic support for events and programming, transactional support, ILC program(s) support; and other clerical support to members within the ILC. The Assistant must be able to interact knowledgably and courteously with a diverse group of individuals with a high level of customer service, tact, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and expertise.
