Job Title: Cleaner Team Lead and/or Driver

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Cleaner Team Lead and/or Driver

to supervise daily housekeeping operations across at a ski resort north of Barrie. In this hands-on role, you'll lead a team of cleaners to ensure common areas, and resort facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the cleaning team during daily shifts Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules Conduct inspections of restrooms, and public areas for quality control Train new staff on cleaning procedures, health & safety protocols, and resort standards Serve as the point of contact for cleaning staff issues and escalate to management as needed Monitor cleaning supply levels and report inventory needs Assist with hands-on cleaning during peak periods or staff shortages Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies Communicate clearly with management

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead a team and motivate others in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation standards in hospitality First aid or safety training certifications A G Drivers License.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
