Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor / Junior Account Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our clients' facilities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the daily cleaning operations of our clients' facilities across Metro Vancouver.

Train, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Create work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and adherence to established cleaning protocols.

Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness of assigned areas regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replenishments when necessary.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement cleaning procedures, policies, and guidelines.

Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints from staff or clients in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and feedback to the cleaning team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, with at least 1 year of prior supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and best practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.

Strong verbal and written communication (email) skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams

Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or issues professionally and diplomatically.

Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to travel between sites.
