Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment, including hand tools and power tools, to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture or equipment as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues that arise. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.

Skills

Experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff. Knowledge of custodial practices and safety procedures is a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
