Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct commercial cleaning in facilities such as offices, restrooms, and common areas. Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor upkeep. Handle heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.

Qualifications

Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and standards is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants. Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards. Comfortable using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$23.46 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
