Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Building Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in cleaning, management, and commercial maintenance. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all building systems function efficiently and effectively, while also managing a team of cleaning & maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Manage maintenance schedules, including HVAC, electrical systems, and low voltage installations. Oversee project management for facility upgrades and repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors as necessary. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance activities. Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics. Lead a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality work and continuous improvement. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Ensure that all staff are trained in safety protocols and best practices for equipment operation.

Experience

Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC operations, and low voltage technology is preferred. Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding of schematics is advantageous.
