Contents Technicians are responsible for assisting with the cleaning and restoration of contents damaged by water, fire, smoke, mold and other hazards. Content Technicians provide exceptional customer service, content cleaning, packing of customer contents, site cleanup and completion of job records.

This position works out of our main office and on properties within Saskatoon and is perfect for someone who enjoys cleaning houses, offices and belongings.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and restoration of contents damaged by water, fire, smoke and mould
• Use appropriate cleaning products for the situation
• Capturing content images and uploading to our database
• Listing inventory
• Content cleaning and packing
• Site cleanup
• Detailed job records
• Inventory management
• Warehouse management
• Be available for new floods/fires/biohazards during work hours
• Be available for new floods/fires/biohazards after hours when on-call
• On-call rotation is every 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean smoke residue from contents and structures
• Pack contents up with protection and care
• Provide post construction cleaning to prepare a house for occupancy
• Follow established procedures for cleaning structures/contents and handling customer's possessions
• Keep job site clean and professional
• Complete daily paperwork

Qualifications

• Cleaning/janitorial experience considered an asset
• Experience in construction/restoration considered an asset
• Clean criminal record check
• Valid class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
• Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong customer service skills
• Able to take direction and follow pre-established guidelines
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Able to deal with clients under difficult circumstances

Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
