Position Description:

The primary focus of this role is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, excellent customer service, general cleaning, and minor maintenance repairs.



Responsibilities:



General Cleaning

Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops Knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in ready Dust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debris General knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS) Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkways Repair of minor maintenance items (i.e. light fixtures, vents, filters, plumbing fixtures Monitor and clean garbage chutes, garbage bins and recycling rooms Collection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste schedule Removal of garbage items and malfunctioning appliances

Customer Service

Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner Promote a welcoming atmosphere Demonstrate excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Handle office administrative tasks, such as processing online applications, creating notices, managing lease renewals, and other duties related to support daily operations Organize, promote and execute resident events (i.e. holiday parties & summer barbeques)

Qualifications

Professional cleaning experience Excellent customer service skills Proven track record of performing general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs. (e.g. garbage bins, appliances) Ability to interact professionally with residents, team members, and contractors Fluent in English and French (applicable to Quebec only)

Pay:

from $19 - $21 per hour
