About the Job:

As a Commercial Cleaner at Coastal ProClean, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness for our valued clients. This position is responsible for servicing a veterinary clinic and requires keen attention to detail.

We are currently hiring for a part-time position on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. The hours for Monday and Wednesday are 8pm to 12am and on Friday 630pm to 1030pm. There will be opportunities to advance and increase your hours as our company takes on new contracts. We believe in promoting from within and offering our team opportunities to build their schedules to meet their needs!

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces in designated areas, including reception, waiting areas, offices, restrooms, kitchen and animal examination rooms. Follow established sanitization protocols and guidelines specific to veterinary clinics, including the proper use of disinfectants, cleaning agents, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Empty all garbage, recycling and compost bins. Clean interior and exterior windows. Mop and vacuum floors and area rugs. Secure assigned facilities by locking doors, turning on/off lights as required and disarming/arming the building. Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and ensure timely notification to management for replenishment needs. Show initiative and be presentable and courteous to all clients and other team members. Other assigned duties.

Compensation includes pay from the moment of equipment/supply pickup to drop-off at the end of your cleaning shift. What We're Looking For:

Must have a valid BC driver's license, be legally eligible to work in Canada and pass security screening requirements. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work would be an asset but is not required. Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills to interact with our clients and other team members. Physical ability to stand, bend and lift for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
