Job Title: Cleaner Position Summary: Responsible for the general tidiness and cleanliness within the member and staff areas of the Club. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dusts member and staff areas daily (includes lamps, paintings, objects).
- Vacuums member and staff areas daily.
- Polishes furniture and fluffs cushions in member areas daily.
- Cleans member and staff bathrooms daily and replenishes supplies.
- Sorts and organizes linens.
- Mops floors in staff areas daily.
- Empties all wastebaskets in member and staff areas daily.
- Dusts baseboards and wipes window ledges weekly.
- Vacuums furniture weekly.
- Washes curtain sheers bi-yearly.
- Spot cleans windows as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Basic education requirement: Grade 8 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience in related industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and co-workers
- Possess good physical health and agility in order to lift and move moderately heavy equipment/objects
