Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, excellent time management, and effective communication abilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks such as scrubbing, polishing, and surface maintenance Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and equipment upkeep Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other power tools to ensure optimal cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning duties within scheduled shifts Assist with heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or equipment to facilitate cleaning processes Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or any issues encountered

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and stand for extended periods during cleaning routines Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues promptly

Pay: $20,000.00-$30,000.00 per year
