The Janitor / Cleaner is primarily a health and safety related position at ONroute to ensure that the required level of cleaning standards is maintained as well as disinfection of the plaza, equipment and overall space. ONroute is hiring part time and full time cleaners! What we offer: \xe2\x80\xa2Flexible hours/ shifts \xe2\x80\xa2$16.00 per hour \xe2\x80\xa2Complementary meals during your shift \xe2\x80\xa2Benefits plan; Health and Dental coverage (full time employees) \xe2\x80\xa2Employer match Registered Retirement Savings Plan (full time employees) \xe2\x80\xa2Paid Training \xe2\x80\xa2Free uniforms \xe2\x80\xa2Safe, respectful and inclusive workplace The job: \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building \xe2\x80\xa2 Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows \xe2\x80\xa2 Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals \xe2\x80\xa2 Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outside \xe2\x80\xa2 Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies \xe2\x80\xa2 Responding to employee or guest requests \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs additional duties as needed Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
