Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial spaces. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct facilities maintenance duties as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance. Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Maintain an organized supply inventory and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Requirements

Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning background is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely in a cleaning context. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning duties.
