Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Dust furniture Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Distribute clean towels and toiletries Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Disinfect operating rooms and other areas Handle and report lost and found items Pick up debris and empty trash containers Order supplies and equipment Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers Knowledge of licensing regulations Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
