Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills, effective communication, and a commitment to high-quality cleaning standards.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective cleaning while adhering to safety protocols. Handle custodial duties such as trash removal and replenishing supplies as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues. Engage in heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Operate hand tools and power tools safely when performing maintenance or repair tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Capability to lift heavy objects as part of the cleaning process. Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment is essential. Driver's license and vehicle are required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
