We are currently searching for a Cleaner to join our team at the Royalty Crossing in Prince Edward Island. This is an exciting and challenging position in a growth-oriented organization. - Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Clean washrooms.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub hallways, floors, and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies to Operations Manager for repair;
- Working with the public in a shopping center environment;
- General maintenance and/or painting;
- Other duties as required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work as a team, and under minimal supervision;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral;
- Effective, proven skills and experience;
- General knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing an asset, but not necessary;
- Ability to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
