Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires effective communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete cleaning tasks. Conduct custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Communicate with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with custodial practices and the use of cleaning equipment is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing environments is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
