Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our retail gas station and truck fueling station. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning or custodial services with the ability to conduct minor maintenance as required on site.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, shovelling snow and disinfecting surfaces across various facilities including the retail gas station and the truck stop Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment to efficiently complete cleaning assignments Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management Use custodial supplies and cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors by maintaining a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, especially in facilities maintenance or custodial services Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment necessary for effective cleaning and maintenance Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to facility needs Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
