The Daycare Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across two daycare locations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of children, staff, and visitors by upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas at both daycare sites
Disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of illness
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all floors and surfaces
Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Travel between two daycare locations during the workday as scheduled
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a childcare, healthcare, or educational setting
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
Ability to travel between two daycare sites during shifts
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Must pass a background check and meet all local childcare safety requirements
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, approximately 3 hours per day
Hours may vary slightly depending on daily needs

Pay: $21.25 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
